Racer Henri Oreiller (36), who was a member of the French Resistance in WWII and an Olympic Gold Medal downhill skier in the 1948 St. Moritz Winter Games (he won two gold and one bronze medal), died from injuries suffered when he crashed his Ferarri during a race at the Montlhéry autodrome circuit in France.
