Father George A. Belcourt of Rusticoville, Prince Edward Island, Canada displayed the Ware Steam Car built by Elijah Ware of Bayonne, New Jersey that he had recently purchased – this was the first automobile on the island and is often cited as the first United States-built automobile to be exported.
