The National Corvette Museum opened in Bowling Green, Kentucky

The National Corvette Museum opened in Bowling Green, Kentucky. 4000 Corvettes attended the opening, which attracted in is first weekend nearly 120,000 visitors. A sinkhole collapsed part of the National Corvette Museum in February 2014, damaging eight cars but not shutting down the building. The gift shop has an annual turnover of US$1 million.
