The Monaco Grand Prix at Monte Carlo was won by polesitter and McLaren-Mercedes MP4-20 driver, Kimi Räikkönen. This was the first Monaco Grand Prix held after the death of Prince Rainier III. His death was the reason why the Princely Family did not attend the Grand Prix.
