The Midnight Sun solar car team from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, completed the longest journey ever undertaken by a solar powered electric vehicle. They arrived at Parliament Hill, Ottawa Canda after travelling a distance of 9,364 miles (15,070 km) through Canada and the US having departed from Waterloo on 7th August.
