The Kuhlman Electric Company is reorganised as the Kuhlman Corporation, manufacturers of automobile parts. In 1999 Kuhlman Corporation was acquired by Borg-Warner Automotive, mainly to acquire Kuhlman’s line of Switzer turbochargers.
