The Hudson Super-Six was officially introduced to the public

The Hudson Super-Six was officially introduced to the public. It replaced the Six-40 , the Six-54 and G-Series. The model was equipped with an engine with six cylinders of 4,736 cc of displacement having a bore of 88.9 mm and a stroke of 127 mm. This power unit delivered 76 bhp of power. The brakes were mechanical and acted on the rear wheels. The body was sedan four doors or phaeton two doors. The model was subjected to updates in 1919, 1920 and 1921. In 1924 the ‘ wheelbase grew from 3,188 mm to 3,239 mm. In 1927 the Super Six was revised completely. The engine was boosted to 92 hp, the mechanics was updated and the wheelbase grew from 2,997 mm to 3,235 mm. The brakes acted on all four wheels. The short wheelbase models reached the top speed of 160 km / h. Also in 1927, a Super Six won the 1000 Miles in Culver at an average speed of over 120 km / h.
