The Henry J Vagabond was introduced, an interim version of Kaiser’s compact, actually a leftover ’51 fitted with a “continental” outside spare tire and a slightly upgraded interior. The Vagabond was available with both four- and six-cylinder engines, and it was identified by appropriate front fender script.
