The Dearborn, Michigan plant of the Graham-Paige Motors Corporation was closed ‘temporarily’ to prepare for the manufacture of the Cord 810/812-based Graham Clipper. However, later commitments to national defence contracts would in effect result in the end of the Graham marque.
