The Brockway Motor Truck Corporation was organised in Cortland, New York with George A. Brockway as President and General Manager and Dr. Frederick R. Thompson as Secretary-Treasurer. The company was purchased by Mack Trucks Inc. in August 1956 and remained a division of Mack until it was closed in June 1977.
