Richard Petty , coming back from a lap 66 tangle that dropped him 2 laps back, won the NASCAR GN ‘Richmond 500’. Buddy Baker finished 2nd in the K&K Dodge, 13.6 seconds behind Petty’s Petty Engineering Dodge, the only other car on the lead lap.
