Peugeot launched the 604, a large 4-door saloon with a V6 engine in a 90° V arrangement with 2664 cc which developed 136 bhp-DIN at the Geneva Motor Show. The new car was no doubt intended to compete with its “enemy sister “, the R30 TS by Renault.
