Petrolheads, a BBC panel game presented by Neil Morrissey, with team captains Richard Hammond and Chris Barrie, premiered. The show pitted motoring wits against each other and included car stunts shot on location. There were two guests each episode.Despite being well received, the show was a victim of the BBC’s change of programming personnel, as it was considered ‘too laddish’ yet some aspects of the format are used in the League of Their Own shows.
