Nissan unveiled the Nuvu, a prototype for an electric city car

Nissan unveiled the Nuvu, a prototype for an electric city car. Seating three within a compact 3-metre-long chassis, its roof was lined with solar panels, which fed the car’s battery via a pillar running through the interior. The Nuvu’s powertrain ran on two lithium-ion batteries, and its electric motors could push the car to a maximum speed of 75 mph, with a range of 80 miles.
