Newspaper editor Earl Selby (82) was killed in an automobile crash in Monterey, California. He was city editor of the Philadelphia Bulletin when it won a Pulitzer Prize in 1964 for reporting on corruption in the city. He had also been a reporter for United Press, Esquire, Cornet, and Sun.
