Ludwig Fischer,


Friday 17th December 1915

Born on this day, Ludwig Fischer, German driver who progressed through hillclimbs and Formula Junior in the 1950s to racing in the German Formula 2 championship. He placed an entry for the 1952 German Grand Prix and took part of in the practise runs in a privately run AFM-BMW qualifying on the last row. But his only ever participation in a round of the Formula 1 World Championship never happened as he was unhappy with the cars performance and withdrew from the event before the start.
