London’s North Circular was named as the noisiest road in the country

London’s North Circular was named as the noisiest road in the country. London also had three other entries in the top five of the competition organised by the UK Noise Association (UKNA), which received hundreds of entries from people across the country. Parkfield Road/Lewisham Way in New Cross, south-east London, was voted the second noisiest, with the A4 in west London, the Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach in east London and the M77 in Glasgow coming in joint third. In fourth place was Dockwell Close near Heathrow Airport in west London.
