Larry Pearson bypassed Joe Thurman with 10 laps left and led the rest of the NASCAR Nationwide Series’ Budweiser 200 at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, Georgia, US. The win was the second of six that season for Pearson, who went on to win his second straight series title. Mike Alexander took second place, 13 seconds behind at the finish. Dale Jarrett was third, one lap down. Thurman wound up sixth after running out of gas with two laps to go.
