Jeff Gordon snapped a 47-race winless streak and also scored his first Texas Motor Speedway NASCAR Cup Series win in the Samsung 500. Gordon was able to outrun his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jimmie Johnson to record his first win since October of 2007 when he won at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
