Herb Thomas, a 2013 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee, drove a Fabulous Hudson Hornet to victory in the Poor Man’s 500 at Canfield (Ohio, US) Speedway. Bill Blair finished second by a margin of four feet as the only other car on the lead lap. Bob Moore took third, one lap down on the half-mile dirt track.
