Some of the best cars ever designed have started their marketing debut recently and will be available in the months to come. Here are the top ten fast and furious cars to expect to hit the sales market in the upcoming 2017 year.
BMW M2
The 2017 BMW M2 hit the market recently with such force that it brings as much delight to car enthusiasts as a new toy would to a kid in a toy factory.
The M2 was based on both the 2-Series coupe and convertible and has twin-turbocharged inline-six with approximately 365 horsepower. Starting price is right around $50,000 USD. The car weighs in at 3450 pounds which is lighter than the 2016 M3 but heavy enough to handle the windiest roads as well as reach top speeds of more than 160 mph.
Alfa Romeo 5 Series
To scare manufacturers like BMW, Alpha Romeo knew they needed a car that had style as well as plenty of speed and allure for buyers. They came up with the new Alfa Romeo 5 Series which fully competes with the best of the best and has the potential for a much larger expansion in the coming year. The 5 Series offers a sporty Giulia as well as an SUV yet to be released for 2017. After being somewhat dormant for the last two decades, Alpine is going to release the new Alpine Sports Car in 2017. This new car is set to compete against sports legends including Porsche, Lamborghini and others for its sleek style and four-cylinder turbocharged engine. The starting price is expected to be right around $53,000 USD and will speed from 0 to 62 in just 4.5 seconds.
Jaguar F-Pace
The Jaguar F-Pace is set to debut at $42,000 USD and is expected to be one of the most popular Jaguar models yet. This luxury vehicle includes features that boast powerful looks with a streamlined body as well as a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine with 300 horsepower. For the family on the go, it also has plenty of leg room and just over 33 cubic feet of cargo space.
Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta
Ferrari decided to take their luxury automobiles into the future by creating the new hybrid, the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. This car was limited to only 209 cars and it sold out practically as soon as it was announced. Nine were held back to show off by the company and 200 were sold to buyers worldwide. The powertrain features a V12 paired with a fully electric motor and the ability to generate nearly 950 horsepower. This car, while sold out already, is included because it is one of those rare fast and furious cars that will lead the way for newer versions in coming years, so be on the lookout for what Ferrari may introduce next. It may also be possible to find one of these powerhouses available for sale when one of the lucky 200 moves on to the next new thing in the motor world.
Lincoln Continental
Lincoln has long been thought of as the car you buy when you are ready to retire. This is not true any longer with the introduction of the brilliantly luxurious 2017 Lincoln Continental. This car was introduced in 2015 as a concept car at the New York Auto Show and is an AWD luxury sedan that is expected to hit the sales market by 2017. The new Lincoln Continental features a 2.7 liter V6 as well as a 3.0 and a 3.7 V6 and horsepower ranges between 300 and 400 depending on the model chosen. Starting sales price runs right around $45,000 USD making this a highly affordable luxury sedan with all the comfort that only a Lincoln can offer.
Ford GT
The 2017 Ford GT is the car for you if you enjoy speed as well as luxurious design and comfort. The car features 3.5 EcoBoost technology to help enhance the supreme aerodynamic style, a powerful V6 engine and a beautiful teardrop body that is made from carbon fiber, making it lightweight and easy to handle when taking those curves on a long drive. This car was introduced in 2016 and comes with a price of just over $350,000. If the price seems a little high even for a special Ford car, you may want to consider this is the most elite GT ever built by Ford and has more than 600 horsepower. Toyota Supra
The Toyota Supra is not expected to release until late 2017 or early 2018 but this car is well worth mentioning in the lineup. The Supra was well known back in the 1990’s as one of the most powerful on the roadways with more than 1000 horsepower and an inline-six engine. The new model Toyota Supra that is expected to debut later this coming year is one that will be combined with BMW to feature a new turbo inline-six engine and although planned ot be smaller than the 2016 model shown above, the features should be similar.
Audi R8
The 2017 Audi R8 is expected to sell with a price tag of more than $162,000 and it may not be an easy car to purchase at all because it will be in high demand when released. With a powerful 5.2 liter V10 engine and 540 horsepower, an electric clutch and a seriously sporty design, this car will be comparable to the Lamborghini Huracan but with a smaller sales price. If you have the option to have one of the two shipped to your door, choosing the new Audi R8 may be the best choice you can make when it comes to price as well as the powerful design and the furious speed that this model includes.
