  • Synthetic lubricants

Synthetic lubricants help engines to stay longer, as they reduce friction between internal parts of the engine and create better lubrication between moving parts than conventional oils. They perform very well at high temperatures and high-stress situations, and that is why they are used a lot in performance applications.
These oils are engineered to be more robust in terms of low-temperature pumping ability, high-temperature stability and provide protection against dust deposits.

  • Spark Plugs for Better Ignition

Spark plugs need to be changed periodically as it can create distortions in the ignition system. When it’s time to replace ignition components, opt for the best high-performance ignition parts, such as coils, wires and platinum tip spark plugs.

High-performance engines need plenty of fuel supply so you can make changes in the size of the fuel line. For most applications, minimum fuel line size is 3/8-inches but when horsepower rises above 500, you need a 7/16-inch fuel line.

  • Dual-plane Manifold

A dual-plane manifold provides great low-to-mid range torque while allowing an engine to breathe at high RPM. Its long intake runners give you excellent torque during acceleration and high ceilings deliver more horsepower. To get even more torque out of a traffic light you can consider using a carburettor spacer.

  • Jet Size

Swapping or experimenting with jet size can help you prevent power losses. For better performance you need to pick up a jet kit and try one jet size at a time, beginning with primary and then using secondary sizes.
To determine the course of action, go with a spark plug reading while you are at its right after a wide-open throttle shutdown.

  • Cylinder Head

For increasing engine performance, cylinder head selection is one of the major steps.
