Dr. Havranek and F Skopal both died during practice for Zbraslav to Jíloviste hillclimb just outside Prague. Havranek lost control on a curve and upturned his Bugatti. His mechanic Frantisek Skopal was dead on the spot Dr. Havranek died few days after in hospital.
