David Bruce-Brown


Saturday 13th August 1887

Born on this day, David Bruce-Brown, American racecar driver. He was killed during practice for the 1912 American Grand Prize and Vanderbilt Cup races held in Milwaukee. His car was repaired and driven by Barney Oldfield in the Grand Prize to a 4th place finish.
