Dale Earnhardt passed Tim Richmond with 14 laps remaining and then held off Geoff Bodine to win the 400 lap NASCAR GN race at Richmond Fairgrounds Raceway. Bodine’s Hendrick Chevy finished 3 tenths of a second behind Earnhardt’s RCR Chevy.
