Dale Earnhardt Jr. scored an overtime win in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Toyota Care 250 at Richmond Raceway. Earnhardt Jr. dominated the race but was forced to make the winning move on the final restart of the day, holding off Ty Dillon to score his first series win of 2016. It was his 24th career series victory but his first as a driver for his JR Motorsports team. He led 128 laps on his way to Victory Lane. Dillon finished second and claimed the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus.
