Carl Edwards charged to the lead early and never looked back on his way to winning the NASCAR Xfinity (Nationwide) Series Nashville 300 at Nashville Superspeedway. Edwards scored his 31st career win to tie Jack Ingram for fourth on the all-time series win list. Edwards, who led 148 of the 225 laps, battled Kyle Busch throughout the afternoon and finally took the lead for good with 35 laps to go and drove his Mustang to the checkered flag.
