Carl Edwards bumped his teammate Kyle Busch out of the way in the final turn to win his second straight race in the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway. Edwards followed his Bristol win the previous week with a thrilling victory. He applied just enough of a bump to the rear of Busch’s car to loosen up his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate and then raced past him for the win. It was Edwards’ 27th career NASCAR Cup Series win.
