Canadian driver Bertrand Fabi suffered a terrible accident when testing a Ralt RT30 – Volkswagen for West Surrey Racing in a private session at Goodwood, England. Fabi had just pitted and possibly due to cold tyres he went off the road and overturned. He sustained serious head injuries in the crash, and died the following day in a hospital in Chichester, not far from the circuit.
