Born on this day, Sergio Cresto (USA), co-driver for Henri Toivonen in Group B Rally. He was also a former codriver for Attilio Bettega. Cresto and Toivonen both died during the Tour de Corse Rally in May 1986. This terrible incident resulted in the cancellation of the 1987 Group B season.
