Born on this day, Jesus Iglesias, Argentine hot shoe drove a Gordini T16 in his home Grand Prix at Buenos Aires in 1955. Three years later he hit the headlines when his Jaguar-engined special pushed off Stirling Moss’s Cooper in the non-championship Buenos Aires City Grand Prix.
