Born on this day, Bob Earl, former American racing driver, winner the 1981 Macau Grand Prix, 1990 12 Hours of Sebring among other victories. He also helped in the development of racing video games, including Gran Turismo 3 and the “Virtual Racing Chassis”, an advanced racing cockpit for use with simulation video games.
