At about 5.00 a.m., two PKS (Polska Komunikacja Samochodowa) buses, carrying miners to “KWK Brzeszcze”, crashed in ravine “Wilczy Jar”, in lake Żywieckie (Jezioro Żywieckie) – killing 27 miners.
