Anthony Brise died aged just 23

Anthony Brise died aged just 23. Winner of both the 1973 John Player and Lombard North Central F3 championship, Tony Brise had made his Grand Prix debut for Frank Williams before being snapped up by Graham Hill to race for the Embassy Hill team after spending the 1974 season in Formula Atlantic. Tony had contested 10 Grands Prix and was seen as future World Champion when he lost his life in an airplane crash involving Graham Hill’s private aircraft. Two-time World Champion Hill died in the same crash as did three other team members.
