Ab Jenkins recorded a one hour run of 195.5 miles at the Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah in the Mormon Meteor III, a Curtiss-engined car built by August S Duesenberg in 1938 and now enshrined in the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City.
